EDUCATIONS: 2003 - 2010: Doctor grade, University of Communications and Transport, Hanoi, Vietnam. 2000 - 2003: Master of Science, University of Communications and Transport, Hanoi, Vietnam. Title of thesis: "Steel fiber reinforced concrete applied to transport construction". Abstract: It is a good idea to use fibres to improve the strength of concrete and it is interested by researchers of all over the world. SFRC has been studied since the beginning of 60th. The structure reinforced by steel-fibre, polyme-fibre, glass-fibre, cacborn-fibre… is studied and used quite commonly in the world. Among them, SFRC is uesd most commonly. Reinforcing concrete by using steel-fibre able to change the properties of concrete considerably both fresh state or solid state, especially solid state. The changed properties of concrete depends on the kind of fibres, orientation of fibres, diameter of fibre, mechanical properties of fibres and the combination between concrete mix and fibres.
